Abukamal is a freelance film colorist born and raised in Bethlehem, holds a BFA in Cinematography from Dar Al-Kalima University. With over 7 years of experience working with hues, exposure and texture, his education has been instrumental in honing his color grading skills, providing him with a solid foundation in the creative aspects of cinematography.

With a proactive approach to his craft, Abukamal likes to begin working on projects during the pre-production phase. Collaborating closely with directors, cinematographers, and production designers, he discusses potential looks and visual styles to ensure that projects look the way they are supposed to.
